HOLY COW…tomorrow is the big DAY! We start our 80 day journey with 80 Day Obsession! I’m a little nervous because I’m part of a Coach Test Group for it HOWEVER I’m SUPER excited because my hubby and I are doing it together! We haven’t done the same program in FOREVER! I spent most of today getting ready…got my meal plan done, took before pictures and really just mentally prepared for the next 80 days!
I have to say it’s been a long time since I committed to doing a workout program from start to finish following the nutrition guide to a T. Sure, I do workout programs all the time, but its the nutrition part that always gets me!! The last time I did follow one diligently for more than 21 days was back in 2014 when I completed the PiYo program and got awesome results! That was a 60 day program and this one is 80 Days! Yes, 80!! But I’m committed!
After having a little bit of a rough 2017, I can honestly say that I didn’t take my nutrition all that seriously. I dabbled in too many things (Ketoish, Low Fat High Carb, and Intermittent fasting to name a few) but never when fully ALL IN on any of them!
One of the things that I really love about this program is that none of the official food group (carbs, proteins, fats, fruits, veggies etc) are eliminated besides sugary sweets/treats and alcohol. But not only that, this program basically spells out what food to eat, at what time to get the absolute best results based on when you are working out! All you have to do it pick from the proper portion controlled container list of foods thats provided!
Today I took before pictures and I have to say that this was very much an eye-opening experience! Just when you think that you’ve been doing OK, you look at your before and think…uh ya, I got some work to do! I did two sets of before pics this time. The regular before you see below in workout gear but I also did a bikini before because I have every intention of having a bikini body after.
I honestly can’t remember when I walked around feeling super confident wearing a bikini after having two babies! I truly believe that doing this program and following it to a T is going to give me the confidence that I need to wear a bikini proudly. Whats cool is this will be JUST in time for an exciting vacation I earned through our company to the Rivieria Maya in Mexico this coming April!
So here’s a recap of what I did to get ready for our first week!
Because I work from home and have access to the kitchen all day most days…I entered all of the number of containers for each meal in our alarm settings like the picture below! I entered mine a couple days ago but did my husbands today! We’re on a little bit of a different eating schedule because I’m a morning workout girl and he’s not which made our dinner times fall at 5:30 and 6:30 so we might cut the difference and maybe do a 6 o’clock dinner time! Other than than dinner, we’re on totally different meal times.
I also made my meal plan! I usually only plan dinners…but today I went ALL OUT! To do this, I basically went through and made a list of all the food I currently had in my kitchen and basically just made it fit into however many meals I could! Thats why some of my meals look kinda random!! LOL
I’m so thankful that I have a team of amazing coaches on my team who have all locked arms together to do this program! We are each not only committed to getting great results but we’re also going to help our customers get awesome results too and change their life! We have a group of over 100 ladies (and some ment) who are taking on this challenge with us! Its so awesome to be able to have that camaraderie and team spirit to really help each other! This is a picture of me and some our team of amazing leaders at one of our team retreats!! I couldn’t be more proud and excited to be working with them during this 80 day journey and beyond!!!
