Chocolate Protein Oatmeal

Now that its getting a little bit chillier in the mornings…this a perfect way to make your morning oatmeal!  I mean, who doesn’t want chocolate for breakfast!

Here’s the recipe:
1/2 C dry quick cooking oatmeal
enough water to cover

Stir oatmeal and water together then microwave on high for 90 seconds to 2 min…depending on microwave!

When its done add 1 tsp natural (no sugar added peanut butter) I like chunky peanut butter, 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Chocolate Shakeology but any that you like will do) and a splash of milk…skim, unsweetened almond or cashew milk! Stir it up and voila…a yummy chocolate breakfast!!

Want to know whats even better…kids will love it!   My girls ask for this for breakfast several times a week!  And let me tell you, its 100 time better for them than sugary cold cereal or even the packets of oatmeal!  Try it!!
