Egg Roll in a Bowl…its what’s for dinner!
You’ve got to SAVE and PRINT this recipe! I’ve gotten so many people saying they tried it and loved it!
Here’s the recipe:
16 oz coleslaw/cabbage mix
1lb Turkey sausage (or whatever meat you want)
1 chopped onion
1 T sesame oil
1T rice vinegar
1/4 c coconut aminos (I had to search a recipe for a recipe online for this because I didn’t have any)
2-3 t minced garlic (I used the jarred kind)
2 t minced ginger (I used the kind in the tube)
3 scallions chopped
Hoisin sauce to drizzle on top!
Combine sausage and onion together in skillet and brown until sausage is cooked through. As that’s cooking combine coconut aminos, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. Once meat is cooked though add the bag of cabbage and cook just until wilted. About 5 min or so. Drain any excess liquid if desired. When I use Turkey sausage there usually isn’t much. Then put sesame oil mixtures and stir to combine. Serve with a sprinkle of scallions/green onions and some hoisin sauce!! Enjoy!!!
