Days 2 and 3 of the Ultimate Reset are DONE!

Today is day three of the Ultimate Reset so I wanted to just give a quick overview of the last couple days have been on our Ultimate Reset journey!  On days 2 and 3 I did wake up with a bit of body aches which is normal from what I read on the Ultimate Reset website and Participant Portal.  Its pretty cool that you can put in how you’re feeling and it will give you response of what is causing it and how to combat it. So for me, I think the muscle aches were mainly due to the cells in my body releasing toxins!  I don’t remember it being this bad on the first couple days the last time we did the Reset but oh well! It was a long time ago! I did end up having to take an ibuprofen today so that I wouldn’t feel completely worthless!!

The meals on day three are pretty similar to what they were on day one but dinner was dramatically different.  I would say it was one of the more time intensive meals but I gotta say it was pretty tasty!  It was these Nori Rolls, with cucumber salad and Miso soup.

On day 2 the meal plan called for a different type of salad with chicken on it for lunch but instead of making 2 salad dressings I went ahead and just used the same salad dressing from day 1 to save time! Day 2 dinner was again one of our favorites from the first time we did the Reset which was the taco dinner! It was super delicious but one thing we like to do with this meal is use the tortilla and make tortilla chips by toasting them in the toaster oven!!

I am including a daily Shakeology, the vegan variety, this go around!  I’m usually not a big fan of the vegan ones so I’ve made it a point to try new recipe each day! I’ve been pleasantly surprised!  Day 2 I tried the tropical strawberry with Chia seeds and mint which was actually pretty good with water and then today was Chocolate with a couple frozen strawberries and chia seeds.  Again pretty tasty!!

As far as weight loss, I’m down about 2.5 lbs and Jason was around 7 I believe in two days as of the morning of Day 3!  (Yes, we like to weigh in every day on the reset!!) So far so good! We both have been excellent about getting our gallon of water drank (each) and am giving it my all! I’m bound and determined to break out of the rut I’ve been in and hit my big health goals by the end of the year!!  I’ve got this!!
