Blast from the Past – Key Fob Keychains

So every Saturday I’m sharing a post from one of the 3 blogs I had back before Facebook entered my world.  I had a private family blog, one for my health/wellness coaching business and one for my sewing crafts.  I know, it’s a lot but if you know me at all, you know I like to be busy and will often times take on more than I should. This one is about how we started with making Key Fob Keychains.

Anyway, today was our market day with The Scrunchie Sisters.  The three categories of things we sell are of course scrunchies in tons of different fabric and colors, over the collar dog bandanas and wristlet key fob keychains that my youngest daughter Sydney makes.  What you may not know is that I started making these keychains back in 2010 and came across this post on my crafting blog when I went to search for today Blast from the Past post!

Below is  the content of the post that was shared in 2010

So while searching on etsy.com a couple weeks ago for some buttons to use on my pouches, I came across a seller who sold some of the exact buttons I needed. But instead of ordering the buttons, the seller had the supplies to make these in her store….wristlet Key Fob keychains!! And now I’m addicted!

After the postman failed to deliver my first order (someone out there is enjoying my supplies…grrrr) the seller agreed to reship my order for the cost of shipping only. Which was awesome! I got my package and away I went…How cool are these?I can’t wait to use mine…it seems like I’m always just carrying around my keys or can’t seem to find them buried in my bag. I’ll be adding them to my etsy store soon!!

What ironic about this post is that here we are, 12 years later and my daughter absolutely LOVES making these.  At this mornings market, she sold quite a few so this afternoon she’s making more to have on hand for our market tomorrow.  We’re doing two markets this weekend because next weekend is homecoming for my girls and we’re taking the weekend off.

So thats it for today! Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!

See you tomorrow.
